Marco Angelici is a Business Unit Director in the High-End Sensors and Analog Division within ST’s Analog, MEMS & Sensors Group, and has held this position since September 2015. He is responsible for three product lines: Environmental Sensors, Micro-Mirror Actuators, and High-End Analog.
Angelici joined STMicroelectronics’ R&D labs in 1995 as a designer of low-power audio converters and digital interfaces. In 1997, his IC-design responsibilities extended to include audio amplifiers and digital-signal processing for consumer applications. Four years later, Angelici became the head of ST’s global Audio R&D team.
In 2008, Angelici was appointed Product Management Director for ST’s Consumer Audio products, with full responsibility for strategic marketing, business management, and application and program management. He has contributed to ST’s success in MEMS microphones where the Company rose to a top-three position worldwide. In 2013, Angelici was appointed Deputy Director of ST’s Volume MEMS and Analog Division. On top of his product-management and technical-support responsibilities, Angelici participated to the Company-wide Internet-of-Things market push, defining ST’s IoT strategy for sensors, actuators, RF, and analog products.
Marco Angelici was born in Varese, Italy, in 1970, and he graduated with a degree in Electronic Engineering from Universita’ degli Studi di Pavia.
