Angelo Fienga

Angelo Fienga is an experienced international professional with excellent knowledge of the telecommunications and ICT industry. Effective in managing, motivating and executing on business and technical programs. In the last few years Angelo has been spearheading the strategy for highly disruptive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Cloud, Drones/UAVs and Unified Communications. He is a founding member of several drone/IoT/AI related initiatives looking at the application of AI, IoT, UC, security and data analytics technologies to the rising market of UAVs and sensors. In his 20+ year career he developed extensive technical and Technical Marketing/Pre-sales leadership skills in both Fortune 500 companies (Ericsson, Cisco Systems, Qualcomm) and start-ups (Elsacom – a Finmeccanica company, Sky4Apps), achieving a strong track record of sales, technical and business development achievements. Angelo is also co-author of a Circular Economy related defensive publication (https://www.tdcommons.org/dpubs_series/1532/) Angelo owns a M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the University in Rome (La Sapienza), he also achieved a Master in Data Intelligence and Decision Science, still at the University of Rome. He also achieved Cisco Design Thinking Certification and Cisco Data Science Certification and owns a permission to fly commercial drones in Italy. He is married with two children.
