Eric Lepage is. Professor of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics of Paris 12 University. Physician specialist in Hematology he obtained a PhD thesis devoted to the integration of medical decision in the hospital Information System. He is medical CIO of the AP-HP since 2005 in charge of the AP-HP Hospital Information system project whose objective is to share information between 72 000 health care professionals across 37 public university hospitals.

Diplomato al liceo classico Galvani e laureato in Scienze Politiche, nel 2007 ho conseguito il diploma al Master in Relazioni Internazionali dell'Università Bologna, dopo avere svolto un periodo di stage a Bruxelles presso l'Ufficio di collegamento con le Istituzioni Europee della Regione Emilia-Romagna. Nel 2008 ho conseguito il diploma al Master in Edilizia e Urbanistica promosso dal Sole 24 ore e dall'Istituto nazionale di Urbanistica. Nel 2009 mi sono diplomato al Master in Economia della Cooperazione dell'Università di Bologna.

Holds a diploma from Liceo Galvani and a Bachelor of Politics (Bologna University), in 2007 achieved a Master's degree in International Relations at the University of Bologna, after an internship period in Brussels Office of the Emilia-Romagna Region. In 2008 achieved a Master’s degree in Building and Urban Development promoted by the Sole 24 Ore and by the National Urbanism Institute. In 2009 achieved a Master’s degree in Cooperation and Social Economy at the University of Bologna.
Currently is President of Commission for Technology and Innovation at ANCI and Deputy Mayor of Bologna Municipality focusing on International Relations, Urban Marketing, Smart City, Digital Agenda, Events and coordinating the Mayor's team.
Dal 2008, fino a maggio 2011, ho lavorato presso Legacoop Bologna in qualità di responsabile dell'Area Sviluppo territoriale, innovazione e internazionalizzazione. Per l'associazione ho seguito la rappresentanza delle cooperative di produzione lavoro e delle cooperative di abitazione. In questa veste, ho coordinato l'ideazione e lo sviluppo dei seguenti progetti di comunicazione: nel 2009 l'evento "Vene Creative" idee e progetti per una città sostenibile; nel 2010 e 2011 la rassegna "Molteplicittà – incontri, dibattiti e spettacoli sulla città che cambia"; nel 2011, il progetto "BOXBO – idee e progetti per una Bologna futura e creativa" in collaborazione con le associazioni economiche della città, la Camera di commercio di Bologna e lo studio dell'architetto Mario Cucinella.
Nel 2010 ho partecipato Comitato tecnico organizzatore della missione della città di Bologna presso l'EXPO 2010 di SHANGHAI. Nello stesso sono stato indicato come membro del cda di "Promobologna – Agenzia per il Marketing territoriale" (fino a marzo 2011) e membro del cda del gruppo Vetimec (stampi e utensili).
Da studente universitario ho svolto l'attività di consulente e project manager nel campo dell'associazionismo e dell'impresa culturale partecipando allo sviluppo di alcuni progetti nella città di Bologna, con particolare riferimento al campo del marketing territoriale e all'organizzazione di eventi: "Bosound – Bologna città della musica", "Julive", "RockER", "BilBOlbul – Festival internazionale di Fumetto".
Dal 1999 al 2009, sono stato eletto nel Consiglio di quartiere Savena, ricoprendo l'incarico di vicepresidente nel mandato 2004 – 2009. Dalla fondazione del Partito democratico fino al 2011, ho svolto la funzione di coordinatore dei circoli del Pd di Savena.⨠Nell'ottobre 2010 ho ideato e organizzato gli "Stati generali sulla cultura a Bologna" promossi dal Partito Democratico, tre giorni partecipati da tutto il mondo culturale cittadino.
Nel giugno 2011, il Sindaco di Bologna Virginio Merola mi ha nominato Assessore al Comune di Bologna, coordinatore di Giunta con deleghe a Relazioni Internazionali della Città, Marketing Urbano, Relazioni Sindacali Esterne all';Ente, Innovazione e Semplificazione Amministrativa, Progetto Smart City e Agenda Digitale. Seguo, inoltre, i programmi d'intervento: Bologna Internazionale, Coordinamento della Comunicazione dell'Ente, Agenda Digitale (open-government, Iperbole2020, infrastrutture e reti di comunicazione), Trasparenza: coordinamento degli U.R.P. comunali, Coordinamento piattaforma "Bologna Smart City", Snellimento, semplificazione e innovazione amministrativa, Progetto Incredibol! Per l'innovazione e l'economia creativa, Coordinamento dei processi di applicazione e di allocazione della tassa di soggiorno, Progetto Tecnopolo e tema I.C.T. Allo stesso sono affidati, altresì, il coordinamento degli eventi cittadini.

Sempre nell'anno delle Olimpiadi invernali entra in Sala Rossa e, successivamente, gli é affidato l'incarico di presidente della Commissione Lavoro e attività produttive.

Charlie Leadbeater is an independent and strategic adviser on innovation whose advice is sought by governments, cities and companies across the world.
The New York Times anointed Charlie’s idea, The Pro-Am Revolution, referenced extensively by Chris Anderson in his landmark book The Long Tail, as one of the biggest global ideas of the last decade. His TED talks on innovation have been watched by more than 800,000 people.
The Spectator Magazine described him as “the wizard of the web” after the publication of his bestseller “We Think: mass innovation not mass production” which forecast the rise of more collaborative, open forms of innovation made possible by the web. The YouTube animation based on the book has been watched by more than 300,000 people.
Accenture, the global management consultancy, ranked him one of the top management thinkers in the world, and the Financial Times described him the outstanding innovation expert in the UK. A past winner of the prestigious David Watt Prize for journalism, Charlie was assistant editor at the Independent newspaper after a distinguished career at the Financial Times, where he was Labour Editor, Industrial Editor and Tokyo Bureau Chief, all by the age of 32.
Charlie went on to become a key adviser to Tony Blair’s policy team at the Downing Street Policy Unit and the Department of Trade and Industry, specialising in the impact of the Internet and the knowledge driven economy, helping to shape government policy across a number of fronts. He drafted the UK Government’s White Paper – Our Competitive Future: Building the Knowledge Driven Economy which was one of the first policy papers in the world to argue that advanced economies would become increasingly dependent upon innovation for growth.
Governments in Europe, North America, Australia and Latin America have turned to him for advice on policy issues ranging from health and education to culture and cities. Charlie speaks regularly at high profile conferences on every continent, from the Gates Foundation in Seattle to the Qatar Foundation in Doha, for the Economist magazine in London to the government of Mexico, from Cisco, the networking company to the Tate Art Museum.
Charlie is a long standing senior research associate with Demos, the influential London think tank; a co-founder of Participle, the leading public services innovation agency, which is working with public sector agencies to create next generation public services and a visiting fellow at the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts, where he has championed ideas of open and user driven innovation. Charlie is co-chairman of the social enterprise Apps 4 Good, one of the first charities to be granted a license to make Facebook apps which has recently caught the attention of the White House.
He has a track record for spotting ideas ahead of time. The Rise of the Social Entrepreneur, published in 1997, for example, was one of the first books to predict social enterprise solutions to public problems would become more compelling. Social entrepreneurship has since become a global movement. Charlie gave a keynote address at the inaugural Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship in Oxford.
His work ranges widely over innovation in the private, public and social sectors. In Learning from the Extremes, a widely read report published in 2009 by Cisco, he looked at the way social entrepreneurs are using technology to create new low cost approaches to learning in the slums and favelas of the developing world. From a new position working on health innovation with Imperial College London he is looking at the way new, low cost and distributed models of health care are emerging in the developing world.
Charlie is currently researching his next book, The Frugal Innovator, due to be published in 2013, which analyses the spread of super low cost, simple, robust and shared solutions to pressing social challenges. The Frugal Innovator looks at how the global dynamics of innovation are shifting during the downturn with more new products being devised for and with relatively poor consumers of the developing world. In tandem with that he is researching the way that digital technology is reshaping our lives and how it can be made more humane and empathetic.
